What does bigaranti cover?

Extended Guarantee:

You can safely use your TV even after the end of the 2-year guarantee period provided by its manufacturing company. While being offered with 1, 2, or 3 year options, bigaranti protects you against damages due to workmanship and mechanical failures caused by manufacturing defects.

Protection against Accidents:

During the first year of your policy, your TV is protected against any damage that may occur as a result of a sudden and unexpected accident. In case such an accident that falls outside the coverage of the guarantee provided by the manufacturer is to occur, your television will be repaired under the coverage of bigaranti. In case when the repair cost is to exceed the policy limit, up to 70% payment is made over the product insurance cost specified in the policy.

Electrical Voltage Failures:

For the first two years as from the date of purchase of your policy, your TV is to be covered against breakdowns that may occur due to dampness, humidity, dust, and sudden changes in electrical voltage. In case such damages that fall outside the coverage of the guarantee provided by the manufacturer is to occur, your television will be kept under the coverage of bigaranti.

Theft:

For the first two years as from the date of purchase of your policy, your TV is to be covered against indoor theft. It covers the damages that may occur due to indoor theft of your television set by force, violence, threat, threat, injury, killing, and/or key duplication (theft), taking into account the deductible rate (30%) specified in the policy.
